In this story by director Hisashi Saito (Bamboo Blade), a hyper girl named Azuki Edomae and her friends Mutsumi Mutsuki and Serika Shihoudou protect the peaceful order of a town by transforming into Kigurumikku-Swan, Kigurumikku-Falcon, and Kigurumikku-Swallow, respectively, via cosplay outfits. "Kigurumi" is a type of cosplay that essentially turns a wearer into a giant plush toy or doll.

In the distant future, in a tropical city on the ocean, fifteen-year-old Mizuki Maia is expecting to be accepted into the prestigious Ocean Agency after acing her entry exams.Even getting caught up in a shootout, as a bystander, between two bikini-clad young women on scooters (part of the Nereids Kamchatka branch as it turns out) and some gunmen, does not phase Maya much. The current topic of discussion: How to beat the more successful Unofficial Newspaper Club. Desperately trying to find a topic of note, the club visits the seemingly dead witherless cherry blossom tree, and wish for something. Should any one of those wishes come true, these would be a great topic for their next newspaper edition. As they cast their wishes, the cherry blossoms suddenly bloom again after over 20 years, and everyone standing under the magnificent tree receives the very same mysterious text message, that was sent over a hundred years ago:"When the cherry blossoms bloom, at that promised place..."

During a monster attack on the city, which is something that happens quite often, Silk and her two friends try get close to the attacking monster for a better view. An unfortunate choice of location to watch from leads to UFO-man, the city’s giant protector, to land on the girls crushing them to death. Feeling sorry, UFO-man blames their death on the monster and promises to bring Silk and her friends back to life by lending them his power but the catch is that they now have to become the city’s protector as well.  

Chako and her friends are members of the struggling club the Cosplay Association at East Oizuka Academy that dreams of going all the way to the Cosplay World Series. Can these girls, with the help of a new member and a magic fairy get well on the way to becoming Cosplay champions. Clothing and costumes will fly as we find out.

The story follows the main characters Takeshi and Michi as they get lost in the Card Battle world and have to win card battles to return home.

Since ancient times, humanity has been in conflict against an otherworldly enemy called "Neuroi". Takeshi has the oppurtunity to pass on the curse, but accepts it to save a young girl. For his noble act, Elle becomes human and lives with Takeshi to protect him from the curse, which is something Takeshi isn’t particularly happy with.

Haruhiko Amami faces an emotional struggle when his non-related foster sister Riko Fukumine returns to his town after many years of seperation.
